MERCAFIR -Visit to food wholesaler-

Today we had a chance to visit Mercafir which is a vegetable market of Florence. In fact, it’s very big and you can also find the meat and fish market in the same area too.

However today we went with Professor Francesco and Arise our lovely translator to visit the vegetables section which already took us few hours to walk around.

Here is the place where vegetables from North and South arrived and distributed to Central of Italy. Florence is in a good location near Pisa airport hence there are imported vegetables and products sent to this market too.

For example, we saw a large storage place just for Bananas from South America. They arrive totally green which makes them easier to be transported.

Yuki was the lucky one who got to try both raw and ripe Bananas. And the rest of us got the ripe and sweet ones.

ฟลอเร้นซ์ อยู่ไม่ไกลจากสนามบินปิซ่ามากนัก ที่นี่เลยมีผักผลไม้นำเข้าจากทั่วโลกส่งมาด้วย ฉันเห็นมีผลิตภัณฑ์จากเมืองไทยอยู่บ้างเหมือนกัน นอกนั้นจะเป็นสินค้าจากเมืองจีนเสียส่วนใหญ่
ครูพาเดินไปโรงเก็บกล้วย ทั้งโกดังมีแต่กล่องกล้วยเต็มไปหมด กล้วยที่เราทานกันที่อิตาลี่ เป็นกล้วยนำเข้าจากอเมริกาใต้ ที่ส่งมาตั้งแต่ยังเขียวๆ แพ็คลงกล่องอย่างดีเพื่อกันช้ำ
พอมาถึงอิตาลี่ ถึงค่อยโดนแพ็คแยกส่งไปขายตามร้านทั่วไปอีกที
พ่อค้าที่นี่ใจดีให้ชิมผักผลไม้ แถมอธิบายนู่นนี่ให้ฟัง ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นลุงๆป้าๆชาวสวนเอาของมาขายแต่เช้า น่ารักดี
ฉันเหมาองุ่นมาลังนึง 5 ยูโร กล่องใหญ่ ขนาดแจกไปสามบ้านแล้ว ก็ยังเหลืออีกตั้งเยอะ
วันนี้ยูกิซังเพื่อนฉันโดนหลอกให้ทานกล้วยดิบ แล้วพวกเราที่เหลือได้ทานกล้วยสุกกันหมด โถ น่าสงสารยูกิซัง
