(February 3)
Today we had an Italian lesson with images. After the lesson, I went to Mercato with my classmates for a walk. We immediately practiced buying gelato using the words we had learned! It was rich but not too sweet, and I wanted to eat it even when it was cold. The crispy waffle with the store’s logo was also delicious.

今日は画像を使ってイタリア語レッスン。レッスンの後は、クラスメイトと散策兼ねてメルカートへ行きました。早速、習った言葉で、ジェラート購入を実践練習！Firenze発のボンタレンティ味と、苺。濃厚だけど甘すぎず、寒くても食べたくなる味でした。お店のロゴ入りサクサクのワッフルも美味しかったです。
(February 4)
Italian class learned today with the help of classmates. Is break the Italian way? Up to how many minutes of break time we tend to decide in Japan…here, we don’t have to decide the time, but we go to a cafe in front of the school building, each of us takes a break, and somehow, we come back to the classroom in a few minutes. I have never experienced anything like this before, and it surprises me every time.
After the lesson, I went to an Asian market for some white rice. I asked the shopkeeper which Japanese rice (Yumeshiki) they make in Italy and which is the closest to Japanese rice. Every day I struggle, but I am happy to be able to do more by myself. 1 kilo costs 6.3 euros. I have to eat rice carefully!

イタリア語授業はクラスメイトに助けてもらいながら今日も学びました。ブレイクはイタリア式？日本では決めがちな休憩時間何分まで・・・こちらでは、時間を決めなくても、校舎前のカフェに行ったり、それぞれがブレイクをして、何となく、数分で教室に戻ってくる。こんな経験は初めてで、毎度驚かさせられる。
レッスン後は、白いご飯が食べたくて、アジアンマーケットへ行きました。イタリアで作っている日本米（ゆめにしき）、お店の方にどれが一番日本米に近いのか、聞きました。毎日、苦戦しながらも、自分で出来ることが増えると嬉しいです。1キロで6.3ユーロ。お米大事に食べなきゃ！
(February 5)
Another Italian lesson today, starting at 9:00. When I was a student in the past, I was too embarrassed to tell the teacher that I didn’t understand something, but my classmates understood and the class proceeded. Here, I am no longer afraid to tell the teacher when I don’t understand something. When I tell the teacher, he or she will deal with me individually. I am somehow not good at communicating myself, asserting myself, and not bothering others, which is also a step forward! After the lesson, I went to EATALY with my classmates. We found 40% off Caffe and Canestrellini cookies for 1€ and bought them immediately. I was lucky today. When I come home, I feel like eating something sweet.

本日もイタリア語レッスン、9時から始まりました。わからないこと、わからないって言える、先生の言っていることが理解出来なかった時、でもクラスメイトは理解して授業が進んでる、昔学生だった頃、そういえば恥ずかしくて言えなかったな（笑）家に帰ってから調べていました。ここでは、わからない時、先生に伝える事に抵抗が無くなりました。先生に伝えると個々に向き合ってくれます、何となく苦手な自己発信、主張、まわりに迷惑かけない程度に、これも前進！ レッスン終了後、EATALYへ クラスメイトと行きました。何と、40％オフのCaffeとCANESTREELLINIという、1€クッキーを見つけて即買い。今日はラッキー。帰宅すると、甘いもの食べたくなるんです。
(February 7)
Italian class starts at 9:00 today. After studying hard, I went with my classmates to a gelato shop and a food stall in Lampredotto. We had already researched the teacher’s recommendations. My reliable classmates! I am thankful to have friends of all ages and backgrounds who have started their lives in Italy together.

本日も9時からイタリア語の授業。しっかり勉強した後は、クラスメイトとジェラート屋さんと、ランプレドットの屋台へ行きました。先生にしっかりおすすめをリサーチ済みです。頼りになるクラスメイト！年齢も出身も様々、イタリア生活を一緒にスタートした縁ある仲間、有難いです。
