Chef Training Course 2017 Winter term has been completed successfully.
Students paired up with another to compete in the final competition. Each team of two students must cook one of the dishes learned during the course without seeing its recipe and within a limited time. Students then waited for Prof. Francesco’s judgment.
After tasting all the dishes, the professor had a very hard time deciding the best dish, also taking students’ impressions on each dish into consideration.
And the winner was Tomonori. Congratulations!
It was great that Tomonori achieved this honor all by himself due to his partner’s absence on that day.
I joined the tasting myself, and all dishes were really delicious.
The very last work in the class for students was cleaning the kitchen they have learned so much in past 2 months. It was a bit sentimental moment to think about it was the very last day of this class, but I’m sure their bonds of friendship will remain in the future.
As students were learning so much in the class, they were searching for their internship restaurants at the same time.
Angela, who advises students looking for their internship, suggests restaurants that might suit each student’s need.
I really hope that all students will do their best, immersed in the completely Italian environment during their internship period.
Good luck, everyone!
